Neighborly Veggie Sharing

My Neighbor brought over some lovely Carrots and even lovelier Artichokes. We recently gifted her with Cucumbers. Good to have a neighbor who also enjoys gardening. With gardening comes consistently learning new things. It's nice to share garden info - and of course Veggies!

Radishes

Last of radishes have been picked. Room for something new!

Strawberries

Mmm . . . Smoothies, anyone? Yum.

Hello, Ladys

2000 Lady Bugs. So much fun! They're great because they eat naughty little aphids - aphids are terrible little garden pests. Lady Bugs are an excellent natural way to keep a healthy garden.

Grow Your Own Food

Lovely Green Bell Pepper. So beautiful and yummy. So nice to grow your own food. Think of all the nutrients persevered in your food when it comes from your garden, instead of making a long trip by plane / ship / truck to your grocery then - eventually - to your stomach. Much, much better.
Really big Zucchini.

Turnip Greens

Turnip Greens with tiny turnips. A bit late in season for them, so I'm told. However, these beauties seem to be doing quite well. One of many lovely things I enjoy about having a garden is having an abundance of turnip greens. They're wonderful in soup.

Bowl O' Veggies

Veggies picked from garden today.
Five jalapenos, Three Cucumbers, Two Banana Peppers, Two small Chili Peppers, One Zucchini, One Yellow Squash, One Gypsy Bell Pepper, One Cherry Tomato & One Strawberry.
